How long does it take for my dial-up
account to become active if I sign up on-line?
Your account will be active within 24 hours after
you sign up. It will take an hour to activate
your account if you call (442-2767).
Q: Does ArdenNet support v.90 modem, v.92
modem, DSL, and cable modem?
Currently, all our modems are v.90 56K
compatible. We may install v.92 modem in near
future. We have no plans for providing Cable
or DSL services.
Q: Do I get any notice to renew my services?
ArdenNet sends two emails and a mailed invoice to
remind users (annual subscribers) for renewal. For
monthly subscribers, their accounts are charged
automatically.
Q: Can I choose or change my own password
for my account?
The password is randomly generated by computer when
you open your Internet account. You can choose
and change your password after 2 months of
subscription.

How can I check my email if I am out of town?
You can check your email through any computer
connected to the Internet. Go to ArdenNet web
site, click WebMail, type your user name and
password to login your mailbox.

Q: Why do I get disconnected after
checking my emails?
Your settings may
have been changed somehow to disconnect after
checking E-mail. To get to the settings, in your
Outlook Express click:
Tools, Options, Connections:
Make sure that the options "Hang up after
sending and receiving" is unchecked.
Q: What are my email box capacity and storage
limitation?
Each customer has the following:
*5MB Total Storage Space
*500 Total Message Limit
Attachments sent to and/or from totaling more than
1.5MB to 2MB may get rejected by our e-mail server
to avoid network congestion.
